Praise Reports

6/8/2005 - God did a great job today watching over my family.   He carried my mom home in such a peaceful way.  I can't even begin to describe how wonderful the day was.  I know that many people cannot understand what I just said but it is very true.  To see my mom go home and be cancer free with her family around her stroking her hair and talking to her was beautiful. Thank you God for the time you gave use, for the wonderful people we met at Evergreen, but most of all for taking care of my mother and just loving her. Thank you.

4/19/2005 - God is good and continues to watch over my parents health.  Mom has been able to travel and see family members.  We also thank God for watching over my Grandma who recently was in the hospital.  God continues to bless our family.

2/3/2005 - Thank you God for the great CT results.  Thank you for the continued protection and healing on my mother.

11/23/2004 - I just want to thank God today for giving us the time we have together and for making this summer and now fall a blessed time.  Mom and Dad are having a blast in Arizona.  The travel down south the the time they have had down there has been great.  Mom said that she has not felt this good in 3 years.

11/3/2004 - Second CT results were as good as the first.  We thank God for all that he has done and for showing us that prayer is the answer when the odds are against us.  Mom has about 65% overall reduction now with more spots totally clear.  The treatment is working and the doctors I believe are shocked at how good.

8/18/2004 - Today has been a great day and we give the glory to God for the results back from the CT.  30% reduction overall the spots in a treatment that only works on 40% of patience is awesome.  Lord thank you for hearing our prayers and knowing our hearts and for giving us this additional time and health.  We also thank you for brining a group of prayer warriors around my mother at this time in her life and showing us how you are continually in the details.

7/21/2004 - We are so happy today and thank God for answered prayers.  We found out today that the brain tumors have shrunk and should never be an issue again.  We are also so thankful for the results that keep coming in positive with the blood work that is done weekly.  My mother's strength and health are staying strong to drive forward and to handle the treatments.  We know that many people are praying for my mother and today we felt those prayers being answered.

7/13/2004 - Awesome trip, awesome family time on the cruise.

7/3/2004 - We leave in a few short hours on our Alaskan Cruise.  Thank you God for this opportunity to fellowship with family, make awesome memories, and enjoy the spectacular beauty you've created.

Mom has felt much better the past 2 days thanks to the steroids.

Thank you Lord for good friends and a very loving and supportive family.  We have seen people going through treatment completely alone and it's heart breaking.  We are so thankful for the support system you have given us.  We pray for those people who do not - And that You will be their comfort and support.  Lord, we lift up the Microsoft benefactor who is giving financial aid to help pay the co-pays on these expensive cancer fighting drugs.  Thank you for people like him who see a need and fill it.

I thank God for being in the details from the moment my parents came to Washington.  The speed at which things have been taken care of and the people we have been working with - they all have been amazing.

Prayer Requests

6/9/2005 - We do not have to pray for my mother now but I want those of you reading this to keep my Dad in your prayers as well as my entire family.  We will all make it but it will be easier as we start this next chapter in our lives with God walking along side of us.  I pray for my family members who do not have that relationship in God and pray that the last year and the last days will show them Gods love.

6/6/2005 - Mom has had increasing pain in her back.  Today she was admitted to Evergreen in order to get the pain under control.  We ask God that he would give both my mom and dad the strength and confidence in Him during this time.  I pray that they will be able to treat the pain instead of mask it.  Thank you God for all that you have done through the last year and for holding my family close.

4/14/2005 - Although the blessings are plentiful, we want to continue asking for God to watch over my mom and keep her healthy.  The x-ray from this week was inconclusive but may show some small growth in her lung.  We pray that the CT in May will show improvement and that the Tarceva will continue working.  I also want to pray for guidance and knowledge for the doctors for my mother as well as for all their patients.

7/22/2004 - I continue to lift my mother and her health up to the Lord.  We are so thankful that we are where we are in this process but know we are still in the middle of the battle.   God please continue to watch over and keep my mother strong and help the treatment keep my mother healthy and shrink all the cancer.  God I also ask that you would watch over my folks as they travel to Eastern Washington this week and bring them back feeling good for our family re-union next week.

7/3/2004 - We pray for my Louise's health especially while we are away from town on the cruise.

We pray that we all have a fantastic time on the cruise but especially my folks who definitely need this break from reality.

We pray for the protection of our children Abbe and Gabe as we leave them behind for a week to be spoiled by Grandma Vicki and Aunt Randee.

Lord, We know that many of the people who read this site have their own battles they are fighting and so we lift them up to you as well.  We thank you for them for even through their own struggles they are taking the time to give comfort and support to my mom and that means more than we can say.

I pray for safety for my sister Debi as she travels back and forth between Spokane and Woodinville.  I also thank her for all the effort she has put into making phone calls and making things happen with the doctors.  I pray that she will remain strong and know that she is appreciated.
